This powerful electronic pest repeller covers the whole building (up to 3000 sq.ft.), and is effective against mice, rats, ants and most other crawling insects. Ultrasound does not penetrate walls or other solid objects, and is best positioned with an unobstructed ‘view’ of the target area. The Professional uses two ultrasound speakers for added power. Random or continuous electromagnetic settings drive pests out from their nesting places in wall and ceiling spaces throughout the building. The electromagnetic function uses every electrical cable in the building to carry and transmit a signal, which can be detected by the pests up to 1 metre from any cable, even inside wall and ceiling spaces. The mosquito setting emits an ultrasonic signal, which deters mosquitoes in the room where the unit is positioned. Direct plug-in design – use almost anywhere. Care Plus Compact Bell Mosquito Net - Mosquito nets keep insects and other vermin at a distance and ensure a peaceful nights rest. Mosquito nets only provide extra protection against mosquitoes and malaria mosquitoes when they are closed on all sides, are made of durable polyester and their mesh is no courser than 1.75 mm. If the mesh is too fine, it can become muggy under the net in a damp tropical or subtropical climate and so is not suitable for those purposes. Care Plus Mosquito Nets were designed in Care Pluss own atelier and are manufactured under the strictest quality standards. The high-quality multi-fibre polyester is ideal for durable impregnation and guarantees a long life span.Impregnation For optimum protection it is essential to impregnate the mosquito with the proper concentration of contact insecticide. The contact insecticide used on the Care Plus Mosquito Nets is deadly for mosquitoes and other vermin, but harmless to people. Impregnation provides extra protection as mosquitoes do not even get the chance to land on and bite through the net. The WHO recommends long lasting impregnated mosquito nets for high-risk malaria areas (tropical Africa, Amazon region, parts of South East Asia). Mosquito nets are available in three varieties untreated, standard impregnation, and long lasting Impregnation (LLI). Untreated mosquito nets are ideal for at home. When travelling to areas where malaria is a risk factor, impregnated mosquito nets are recommended. Standard impregnated mosquito nets remain effective for 6 months when used. The nets are washable but no longer effective once washed. After being washed just once they must be impregnated again. The useful lifespan of the impregnation improves if impregnated mosquito nets are stored in a dark space after use. Besides these standard impregnated mosquito nets there are also Long Lasting Impregnated (LLI) mosquito nets. Tropicare was the first to introduce them in 2003. By using this new technology the impregnation remains effective 5 times longer than standard impregnatedmosquito nets. Furthermore, the nets can be washed without losing their effectiveness.
